Home School Program

Register now!

Rock Spot Climbing is offering a 10 session, weekly home school program. Students will have 10, 1-hour long sessions facilitated by a dedicated instructor. The curriculum will be based on introducing and building climbing and safety skills from week to week, while in a social environment with other home schooled students. This program can be a supplement to RI home school physical education requirements.

Other Youth Classes

After school & weekend youth climbing programs are designed for all ability levels, whether your child is brand new to climbing or has been scaling the walls for years.

Our small class sizes (4:1) allow us to get to know your child individually and provide the proper instruction to suit their abilities and interest. Your child will build friendships while they build their knowledge and self-confidence.

Toddler Time – Every Other Wednesday & Every Saturday
Join us for our Toddler Time class for your little ones ages 1-3! Toddler Time is a fun class facilitated by our youth instructors. We will explain activities for parents to help their toddlers climb, explore, crawl and play with others!

SESSIONS

January 22nd, 24th, 29th, 31st 7:00-8:30pm

Join Alex for a rotating technique series that is designed for intermediate to advanced climbers. Participants can choose the classes they want to take. Each session will cover a different topic. The classes are $10 each for members and $15 for non members.

Yoga: Mondays & Wednesdays 7-8pm

Instructor: Sarah Daigle

Free for Members and only $10 for everyone else! Yoga is a great compliment to climbing that helps increase dexterity, flexibility and balance.

On Tuesday, January 29 and Wednesday, January 30, reps from Black Diamond, La Sportiva, Scarpa and Evolv will be visiting our Providence and South Boston locations respectively from 6pm to 9pm to answer all your questions with an incredible selection of shoes to try on, test out and compare on our climbing walls!

FrictionLabs will also be demoing their high performance chalk.

Representatives from the top brands will be present to gear you up with all the tools you’ll need to get on the ice. We’ll also have the region’s top climbing professionals dropping by to teach clinics and provide instruction. Rock Spot Climbing’s guiding staff will be setting up ropes and belaying so the only thing you need to do is climb!

Whether you’re looking to get into the sport or just crossing it off your bucket list, join us for as many (or as few) days as you want! This is a great opportunity for anyone who has wanted to try ice climbing without having to invest in gear. If you can’t get enough of it, we’ll have special discounts on the gear you’ll need to continue your ice climbing journey.

The Boston Boulder Brawl is our annual climbing competition with a focus on bouldering.

Set in our South Boston location, the 2018 season marks the fifth (5th) year of this incredible event where the best climbers from all over the world come to compete.
