The Boston Boulder Brawl is our annual climbing competition with a focus on bouldering.

Set in our South Boston location, the 2019 season marks the sixth (6th) year of this incredible event where the best climbers from all over the world come to compete.

Youth Programs

After school & weekend youth climbing programs are designed for all ability levels, whether your child is brand new to climbing or has been scaling the walls for years.

Our small class sizes (4:1) allow us to get to know your child individually and provide the proper instruction to suit their abilities and interest. Your child will build friendships while they build their knowledge and self-confidence.

Homeschool Program

Register now!

Rock Spot Climbing is offering a 10 session, weekly home school program. Students will have 10, 1-hour long sessions facilitated by a dedicated instructor. The curriculum will be based on introducing and building climbing and safety skills from week to week, while in a social environment with other home schooled students. This program can be a supplement to RI home school physical education requirements.

Registration for our Summer Camps is LIVE so whether reaching new heights in our boulder cave, or on top of a local cliff, our camps are sure to provide you with the adventure you are looking for. Our staff are trained to keep it fun while providing a safe environment for climbers to learn, play and grow.

Toddler Time – Every Saturday
Join us for our Toddler Time class for your little ones ages 1-3! Toddler Time is a fun class facilitated by our youth instructors. We will explain activities for parents to help their toddlers climb, explore, crawl and play with others!

Private Technique

We offer private technique classes for the climber looking to reach that next level!

Yoga: Mondays & Wednesdays 7-8pm

Instructor: Sarah Daigle

Free for Members and only $10 for everyone else! Yoga is a great compliment to climbing that helps increase dexterity, flexibility and balance.

Shoe Demo: April 9th 6:00-9:00pm

Reps from Black Diamond, La Sportiva, Scarpa and Evolv will be visiting our Peace Dale, RI location from 6pm to 9pm to answer all your questions with an incredible selection of shoes to try on, test out and compare on our climbing walls!

FrictionLabs will also be demoing their high performance chalk!

All retail over $5 will be 20% off during the event (25% for members)!

Guiding

Whether you’re new to outdoor climbing or you would like to learn how to set up top rope anchors on your own, Rock Spot has the program for you!

Over the Edge May 4th

Your mission is to ascend the roof, step ‘Over the Edge’ and rappel down the 12 story building! The valuable funds that you raise will provide the people of Providence with a wealth of knowledge and free learning resources through its nine neighborhood locations.

Discount Days

We’ve gone mad and we’re offering $10 climbing after 10pm EVERY DAY until the end of May!

This INCLUDES GEAR RENTAL and gives everyone 2 solid hours of climbing until we close at midnight.
